Change Management: An overlooked ingredient?

You hear it everywhere: "People, process, technology." Change impacts each in a different way, and that change is going to happen.

It's happening now. The question is, will it happen in an intentional way, or is will it be a huge source of chaos that disrupts the big important thing you're trying to get done?

Change management has become a buzzword, and there are good reasons why. It's a critical consideration for a lot of what we face in our work. Here's how we can help:

  • We can help you refine, or even define, your change management strategy. Our network of experts, facilitators, and trainers will help you implement it.

  • Our core expertise in enterprise learning and training gives us a powerful toolset for delivering new skills and behaviors at scale. If you are already underway with an intentional change effort, we can design learning plans or deliver training as part of your existing change management plans.

There are different types of change management, and there are a lot of change management models out there.  If you're a business leader or in charge of a large project, change management likely means an organizational initiative that involves strategic change management.  If you sit in IT you may think of change in terms of service management, change approval boards,  or ITIL. If you're a technology integrator, you may think of adoption or user training. If you're a software developer, change management applies to the your engineering patterns and code base.

Different needs require an understanding of who you're collaborating with and what they need to be part of a successful change. There isn't one model that's best, and a good strategy will probably pull from many. No matter what, you need a plan, you'll need education, and you need integration between the existing change management processes you already have in place. Soft skills, communication, measurable behaviors, tooling and process will all be in play.

We can help tie it all together. If these needs resonate with your needs around change management, we hope you'll consider having a chat to see if we can help.
